A hard but Awesome Suggestion - Applying Web2.0
I have an idea which will make the forums very damn popular.
Have you ever thought why facebook has so much traffic? its because its fast.. not that its servers are fast.. the servers are just normal. Its because they use all the features of web2.0 in there website,
Now, there are some forum software built on web2.0, I have some already, you don't have to replace this just yet.
You can install it somewhere else and try to transfer the database, and c which 1 the users like most.. and i know it'll be the web2.0

The latest browsers also using the same technology if the page is cached on its memory.
For example, if you are using Mozilla Firefox latest browser, you are not going to waste time for reloading the page which is opened previously. ( Iam not saying about refreshing ). The images which are previously loaded will taken from the cache..
lets just say that the main think web2 has to offer is that when you click on a link the page wont load all over again.. have uused facebook?
