This is a suggestion I am put foreward for the consideration of ivenms, the admin of WMF. Start a new forum for 'Incentives'. I have seen in many forums very active on this concept. People will gather in this flatform to give and take points. No doubt, the activity will boost.

Hello ivenms, many forums running incentive programs. People will participate in this type of activity to earn points. You should not give points. The participating people will give that. Suppose, I am starting a thread announcing certain 'WMF$' or 'WMF points' to stumble my site, or , to sign-up as my referals...like that. I will donate the points to the participating members from my account. The prior permission should be earned from the Admin to conduct the incentive program. We already had a Point exchange forum. That is for the same use as you specified. You can exchange your points with others publically on that forum category.
