I would like to know about how to make proxy connection with default microsoft settings...

I need to connect 5 to 10 pc to internet through a server pc. All pcs are configured with static IPs so I want to get the shared net from the IP as 196.169.0.1

Hi,

I am also looking for this kind of suggestion because right now i am running one internet connection for two PC but if you will share tricks with us then i can manage also three or four PC by a single connection only.

Use proxy ..

Or just use the automatic settings.. This is applicable for all platforms for a simple local network connected with a switch rather than router...
