Hi

Hi (this message is too short but so what?)

Edsgar Dijkstra (a dutch computer scientist who invented the concept of structured programming) Wrote:
"The competent programmer is fully aware of the limited size of his own skull. He therefore approaches his task with full humility, and avoids clever tricks like the plague."

"Program testing can be used to show the presence of bugs, but never to show their absence!"

"APL is a mistake, carried through to perfection. It is the language of the future for the programming techniques of the past: it creates a new generation of coding bums."

RE: Hi

Thanks Cedik and congrats on your almost-one-month (1 day) being appointed as Moderator. Wink

Edsgar Dijkstra is practically my idol in computer science. I look up to him a lot. The others I look up to are: (you may not know them) Godkillah, Slaytanist, slayer766, TheInfernoSin, and there's one other that I can't remember (hmmm). I'm glad you like my quotes ^_^ I like them myself. If it weren't for the 500 chars limit, I would add one more line. Anyways, I changed the second one to an API one since I like it more.

RE: Hi

Thanks for the welcoming guys. I do appreciate it.

walsh, normally I'm not really all that inspired to do scripts and tutorials because I really never know what to do them on. Most of my scripts are made from requests by others. So if you'd like to see some, please request them and I'll try to work something out.

Unfortunately I don't know ASP, CGI or Perl. With you guys place up languages like Java or C because I know those quite well. I'm alright with PHP, mostly because I'm not too good with PHP OOP.

There is not too much logic difference for the languages. I'm sure that you are going to make this place proud... Rolleyes
