I think I made a mistake ...

I'm using google adsense on my site and I clicked on the ads that appeared from time to time until someone told me that I shouldn't have done that.
A friend of mine told me that I risk to get my account deleted when I reach the 100 dollars limit and I will not get paid. Another one told me that my account would have been suspended by now if that was the case.
Now, I'd like to know which one of them was right. I don't want to keep using adsense until I reach 100 dollars and then to found out that all my earnings are lost because my account was suspended.

Now what is the amount accumulated.

See when you reach $50 Google Adsense sends you a verification code to the address given to them. Then later when you have verified your address by putting that code and after completing a minimum of $100 they will definitely send you a check of $100...

It's like... 5 dollars or so. Really low, anyway.
I didn't put so much effort in promoting the ads on my site and placing them really well because I keep adding new features to my site and I want to have a completely finished site first.

Cedik, don't worry if you only made $5 from your account. Don't try to open the adsense account on your PC until they send your payments. They normally check for fraud clicks after reaching 100$ limit. You now need good ad impressions from many visitors to not get banned from adsense. Be careful if you get more than 10 clicks from 1000 impressions (average).

It's a good thing that in november I'm going to launch the subdomain for my site and put some ads there too. This way I can get even more impressions.

But be careful. No one can't give guarantee for your account after violating their terms of service. The things I said only minimize the chance of account termination, that will not avoid your account termination. On the end (when reaching $100), if you get about 100,000 impressions from atleast 40,000 unique visitors, and some genuine clicks then there is only very less chance of account termination.

has anyone here has got a check from google adsense by completing $100..?...if so please give your feedback...on how much time do they take to send that check...

Google do their job clearly and correctly. The time taken for the payment is depending on your location. Just read their help document. They do every thing according to the procedure.

After completing the $100 mark, you can expect the payment within next two months.

Well, if you clicked your ads by mistake, this is what you should do:

Go to http://www.google.com and search for contact Google Adsense, and there will be a website where you can contact Adsense. Then write a letter to them, saying that you clicked your ads unintentionally, and that you know you shouldn't have done it, but you didn't do it on purpose. Tell them that it'll never happen again, sorry about that. That's what I did, and they replied saying that it was OK.

I just did that and I hope they won't cancel my account. If they do... oh well, it's not like I had too much money earned anyway...

Yes, I did receive an e-mail but it was in my native language and I'm too lazy to translate it. Anyway, the main idea is that they understood and they haven't even canceled the clicks that I've made myself

That is a unbelievable response from Google..

They normally likes to cancel adsense accounts without reasons. I think that now they learned that there are many programs which gives good competition to adsense program.

Probably... You must know better because it's the first time when I used such a program.

No need for that. Am very happy to end this matter in good way. Use your adsense account carefully and never click on your site's ads..

I dont believe Google Adsense at all,but my professor is getting every month 100-120$ cheques from Google from their company's site. Dont know how,but i saw the cheque even. Well,dont play with it! Just have patience,till you reach 100$,but i think,it'll take a lifetime.

Am also getting their cheques monthly before. Thats because one of my site really likes adsense well. But tragically I lost that site and now, the adsense is nothing for me..

I have the same oppinion as khenna25 have about placing 'AdSense' in this forum. Even though this forum using Bidvertiser Ads, you can place Adsense also.
