Joomla Template Help

Hello, I have a joomla template and a wonderful banner that ArtMark made me. Now, with my last template I knew how to change the lolo/banner because there was already a demon banner in place and I just had to replace it.
Now, I'm using a different nicer template that's easy on the eyes. It doesn't have a demo banner though for me to switch my current one with. It just shows the title of my site and if I change the title in config. the words change too. I tried adding the banner into the title area with HTML but the code apeared and not the pic.

Any help would be much apreciated. I am loath to change my template. If I should include my CSS or whatever code from the template just let me know. Thanks.

RE: Joomla Template Help

I think the code is appeared because of the editor you using. If it is a FCK or some thing like that, the code you put on the text area will converted into the corresponding quotes and he same thing will be appeared on the template.

I think you know how to change the template code. If not, do the following:-

In administrator area of Joomla, go to Site>>Templates>>Site Templates

Then after selecting the proper template, go to edit HTML.

You can find the template HTML. Dont change any thing within <?php and ?>. Change the code on there. Normally there is no editor is associated with the text area on there.

Just do there things. If the problem is still existing, just post on here with more details.

Thanks

Hmm....

Now Iam looking to your site. The new site looks fine. Artmark made a good job on the template to convert the older version to the wonderful new one.

The site looks fine. It should be moved to the main folder as soon as possible.
