My strategy of promoting my website.

I have been the administrator of a big anime forum in my country for quite a while now. But I decided to start my own site because... well, it will by my site
I bought the domain and installed a portal with a forum. At this time, I have 152 users registered but I didn't promote it just as good as I could.
Anyway, my strategy goes like this:
I'll soon open a new site with anime and manga downloads, as well with an embed videos collection. This will be a separate site, but it will also be a subdomain of my first site. I'm not going to buy a separate domain for it. Since this new site will offer everything without an registration required I expect some new visitors to come there too. Also, I'll also add some new features that will only be available to the ones that are registered and active on my forum. I'll let the visitors know that if they want access to the full site, they must me active members of my forum. Of course, not all of them will register, but since about 75% of the features will be available for anyone, I'm sure that many will visit my site. And this way, I can also motivate the members that I already have to be more active.
I'll soon open another two similar subdomains, not like this one, but also related to the anime and manga domains, and they will also be not related too much with the forum, so I'll be able to promote them separately.
This way, I'm thinking if I can make this sites popular, I can also make my forum more popular by placing backlinks on all the other subdomains. This will atract crawlers that will in time improve my PR as well as new human visitors that will enhance my traffic.

You can make good targeted visitors by advertising your sites on pay per clicks ads. Adwords and bidvertiser are the best choice for your site advertisements. Adwords gives you more motivated visitors, but bidvertiser saves lot of your money...
