Next page rank update

Uhm... It's not an obsession. I'm just curious to see if my efforts had a result or not. For an example, right now I started a link exchange campaign with other similar sites. But they all have small pageranks (1,2 maxim 4 ) but they are many. If I don't get a higher pagerank after that this means I have to concentrate my efforts in a different direction. And as soon as I know the results, the sooner I can get back to work and try a new approach.

Hey, since you are so good at this ( I'm not being ironic ) what do you think I should do? On what should I concentrate my efforts?
Should I continue this affiliating campaign? Because my pagerank is 0 anyways and even though they also have small pageranks, 1 and 2 are better than 0. And on top of that, this could (and also has ) bring me some new members for the forum. Though, bringing new members is not a problem at the moment, since I can easily bring a few hundredes in a day or so.
Should I submit my site to more web-directories? I have a huge list and I only submitted it to only a small fraction of those sites.
Should I work on good keywords and stuffs like URL rewriting and other SEO techniques of this sort?
Or should I keep improving the site until I'm 100% happy with it and only then start promoting it?
Each of these "ideas" has it's own pro's and con's. But what do you think it would be the best? Or what would anybody think?

Fix you urls doing mod_rewrites.

Submit your forums to quality web directories. As you are a beginner, to understand if the directories are ok, just make sure that they are listed in Google. The green bar is not relevant at all. Can happen that a site has a PR10 and it's banned, but it still shows PR10 in the bar until the next PR Toolbar Export. Got it?

To check if the site is banned you simply need to use this tool: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/sitestatus

Avoid submitting your site to many directories in a short time. Google is strictly against linking strategies indented to increase PR!!!! I would avoid submitting to more than 10-12 directories a month.

One update took place on October 19, 2005. So that day was a Wednesday. So I just thought that it might will be a Wednesday again around the same time (week). So October 17, 2007 is a Wednesday, and I pray that is is true.

yes...guys the next Page Rank update will be on Oct 17 by seeing the previous updates....so guys keep your eyes open on the toolbar...

Some sites reported the PR change. But there is not any visible change in PR. The change will be on any time....

google was recalculating some sites, like directories and sites that go on massive PR buying links....those sites saw some downfall in pr, but as for the general pr update, I don't think it's started yet....

Hmm...I have a question...
On some sites, my pagerank seems to be n/a.
What does this mean?
And I mention that on those sites my pagerank was 0 before. Now, it won't show me any pagerank at all
Though, some sites tell me that my pagerank still is 0.

Yeah....after a long wait of time my sites pagerank has boosted from 0 to 3....man this is just awesome...i was so happy to see my site page rank is 3. i wish i work more on my site and get a better page rank like 5 or 6...
anyways anybody else has got an update for the page rank for their site.....if so share your joys here..

damn, my foamy site went down to a pr 2....oh well, that's what i get for not promoting it....
my general directory went up to a 3 lol, the 2 sites just flip-flopped pr that's all
my subdomain blog.shadav.info has a pr 1 lol not bad for not really promoting it....
and my adult directory stayed the same a 2

Happy news for me..

No sites gone down on their PR for me..

Some sites remains on the same stage and some increased their positions. Very disappointing that this place still on PR 3. The actual value is just 3.5. Expecting PR 5 for the next time..
