Please remove that background

When this forum loads, at any time, there is a striped green background showing, and it is killing my eyes. Could you try a different background?

I think the background image is not matching the theme of the site. The green color is not the exact one used on the forum. Also the background is very bright. There should need more black regions on the image.

Edit the image if you can asap. The back strips should be much wider than the green one. Also don't forget to change the green color to the forum theme color. Select the color from the image: http://webmasters-forums.com/images/KBul...ead_bg.gif

why not just use your banners image...i've edited it so that it should flow nicely....give it a try....

The height is making the problem. It makes repeated images heithtwise. Any way Iam making the image as background. If you can make a better background to the site, post reply on here.

That will also make the repetition on y axis. A background image should be uniformly distribute.

I like the new background. It's not busy, like the old one was, has a good flow from light to dark, and the white bars add to it. Great job.

Now the background looks very great. It is also not scrolling down with the page. Ivenms, please publish a tutorial for making fixed background.

just a small question before i start working on1 : here i cant c anything of the background except for a very small stripe at the left and another one at the right, u want to change those?
Im too lazy but please can you get me the CSS line thats doing the bg so that i know what kind of bgs do you need.

Suggestion: It doesnt have alot to do with the background, but if it were me, I would have added a tilted stripe on the top of the page with alink to the newest thing. If you dont understand me i can supply a very low level detail screenshot

ofcourse that will not be the coloting nor the looks, this is to just clarify my idea.. look at the top roght corner. that can be done animated or not and linked ofcourse

But already the page is overflown with codes. Your idea needs a large amount of javascript code.

We can use that on the blog section with ease.

But your screenshot showing a very high navigation region.
The actual height is only under 60px. What is the reason for that?

Is the nav region shows larger height for all site pages on your browser?

yea you are rite.. its higher than 60px.. no problem, if you just let me get a look at the codes i will fix it in no time..
