Simple Search Link for Word Content

Do you want to add a link on your site's content which leads to that content's search in google site?

Then here is the simple steps to add a link like this: WebMaster Forum

  • First select the words on your site which you want to relate to google searh engine.
  • Make a link with the word you selected. i.e Enclose the word(s) in anchor tag.
  • Put a link like this tothe word: http://www.google.com/search?q=Your+Word
  • If your linking part have more than one word, join each of then with a positive symbol ( + ).
  • Thats all. You now generated a link on your site which links your word to the google search query.

Thats all for now. I will present more newstuff later.

RE: Simple Search Link for Word Content

That is a simple point. But it is very valuable thing. I will definitely add this type of word links on my site. I will clear the doubts of visitors about the words on the site.

Is there any link which describes the definition of the words?

That can make the site more understandable.

It is better to specify the language also.

You can specify the language you searching by adding &hl=en

ie the previous link will change: http://www.google.com/search?q=Your+Word&hl=en

RE: Simple Search Link for Word Content

Great suggestions, this is obviously good for definitions instead of explaining every aspect of one word. There is always the alternative of linking them to http://www.googleityoumoron.com/ hehehe.......

Nice shortcut to the advanced search page. I like to add little more properties with the page request:

Quote:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=SEO+Workers+Forum&num=100 &as_ft=i&as_filetype=pdf&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=google.com&safe=active

This searches for the same with some properties selected, like 100 pages, only search on PDF files, restricted on domain google .com, filter the search using safe search.. Smile

The resulted search link is: http://www.google.com/search?as_q=SEO+Wo...afe=active

Actually those are no scripts for that. Someone created a script with those operators and parameters already: http://www.mapelli.info/tools/supplement...alculator/

What I use and which make more sense is this tool http://www.seo4fun.com/php/pagerankbot.php which I have the desktop and server version installed.

Here is some additional info: http://www.seo4fun.com/blog/

Am not talking about the Supplemental Results. am talking about your SEO tool. Which method you are using to get results (normal results and statistics) from Google search on your scripts.. ???

BTW, thanks for the links.. Smile

Originally we purchased this script: http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-engi...lyzer.html

Then we worked a lot on it adding content, etc. We began a few days to develope a similar script in PHP/MySQL with much more features, which we hope that they will be enough to meet ALL needs of beginners and SEOs. But that not be for free service though. There is no tool around that will be able to give more info than this.

Am also working with free webmasters tools. Now am developing a script which uses Google search results. But unfortunately it using API and there is daily limit for API usage. So am searching for some other techniques to get Google search results and statistics.
