The news of BVOP’s Project Management certification is spreading

The news of BVOP’s Project Management certification is spreading rapidly around the world.

Numerous media and news outlets published the official press release of the project management certification organization released last week. In this publication, we share references to the publication from various sources and media.

Perhaps it would be best to start with, which published the article significantly faster than the other brands in the list below.

Let’s talk a little more about what information is and how this news about project management certification is rapidly spreading around the world based on the following principles. (

The properties of information are influenced by both the properties of the data and the properties of the methods that interact with the data in the course of the information process. From this dualism derive its properties:

objectivity and subjectivity of the information – the objectivity of the information is relative insofar as the methods for its receipt are subjective. (

More objective is considered to be the information in which the methods introduce a less subjective element. Eg. the reflection of nature from photography and drawing. In the course of the information process the degree of objectivity of the information always decreases;
completeness of information – The completeness of information characterizes its quality and determines whether the data is sufficient to make a decision or to create new data based on existing ones. (

The more complete the data, the wider the range of methods that can be used to process it to reduce the error rate in the information process;
reliability of the information – the data arise at the moment of registration of the signals, but not all signals are “useful”. There are always data that are not essential for the reflected phenomenon, which create the so-called. “information noise”. The clearer the useful signals are registered, the more reliable the information. As the noise increases, the reliability of the information decreases. In this case, data or more precise methods are needed to extract/transmit this information; (
adequacy of information – this is the degree of conformity of the real objective state of affairs. Inadequate information can occur when processing incomplete and unreliable data. At the same time, complete data can be a basis for obtaining inadequate information when interpreted by inappropriate methods; (

availability of information – measures the ability to obtain information. The degree of availability of information is influenced by the availability of data and the availability of methods for their processing. The lack of adequate methods for data processing leads to the receipt of unreliable, involuntary and inadequate information; (
timeliness of the information – the degree of conformity of the information to the current moment. The commercial value of the information is often related to the topicality. As the information processes unfold over time, reliable and adequate information can lead to making the wrong decision if it is no longer relevant. (

Data and project management news

The data is for registered signals. The physical methods for recording data can be very different – mechanical movement, leading to changes in shape and quality, electrical, magnetic, optical, chemical characteristics, etc. of objects. ( In accordance with the registration methods, the data can be stored and transferred on different media. One such medium is paper, where data is recorded by changing the optical characteristics of its surface. Changes in the optical properties also occur when recording with a laser beam on plastic media with a reflective coating. Magnetic tapes and disks can serve as carriers using a change in magnetic properties. ( Recording data by changing the chemical composition of the surface of the substances used in photography. At the biochemical level, data is stored in the wild.
Information is always closely related to the properties of the data carriers. Each carrier is characterized by parameters such as: resolution (the amount of data recorded on the carrier in a characteristic unit) and dynamic range/amplitude between the maximum and minimum registered signal /. Such properties of the information as completeness, accessibility and reliability often depend on these properties of the carrier. /e.g. comparison between book and CD, slide and paper presentation.

Data operations

In the course of the information process the data are transformed from one type to another with the help of methods. Data processing involves many different operations:
data collection – accumulation of data in order to ensure sufficient completeness for decision making;
formalization of data – bringing the data coming from different sources into the same form in order to become comparable to increase their level of accessibility;
data filtering – removal of information noise to increase the reliability and adequacy of information;
data sorting – arranging the data according to a certain feature for convenience in their use and increasing the availability of information;
data archiving – organizing the storage of data in a convenient and easily accessible form;
data protection – a set of measures aimed at preventing data loss, for reproduction and modification of data;
data transfer – the reception and transmission of data between remote participants in the information process.

Moreover, in informatics it is accepted to call the data source a server and the user – a client;

Data is the raw material of management and the media

Data is the raw material of information and project management. They are organized symbols / numbers, letters, pictures / that are representative of certain events. They do not make sense in themselves. Meaning presupposes understanding, which in turn presupposes cognitive activity of some kind. Once attached to the data, meaning, understanding and evaluation turn it into information.

The data captured by the senses activate the consciousness. If the data reduces uncertainty, the information is the result of experience. Consciousness changes physically in the literal sense of the word with the increase of knowledge. As Oliver Wendell Holmes’s observations show, “Consciousness facing a new idea never returns to its previous dimensions.”

Informatics is a technical science that systematizes the ways of creating, storing, reproducing, processing and transmitting data by means of computer technology, as well as the principles of operation of these means and methods of their management.
From this definition it is obvious that informatics is very close to technology, so it is often called information technology. (

Sources of informatics

The word informatics comes from the French word Informatique, formed by combining the terms Information and Automatique, which defines it as a science of automated information processing. ( Nowadays, in most countries of Western Europe and the United States, another term is used instead – computer science.
The sources of informatics are usually two sciences – documentary and cybernetics. (
